This one-day accredited CITB Temporary Works Co-Ordinator Refresher Course is designed for candidates who have already passed the 2 day Temporary Works Co-ordinator training.
All Temporary Works Co-ordinator certificates are valid for 5 years from the date of issue. Candidates will be required to show their original certificate prior to attending training. Any delegate that does not attend prior to the end date of their certificate will risk their right to attend a refresher course and will be required to attend the full 2 day course.
Covering temporary works on both small and large sites, this 1-day course focuses on risk management, health and safety regulations and relevant legislation to ensure that co-ordinators understand the role and expectations of managing a temporary works site effectively.

Please note: Although there are technical elements to this course, it is not a temporary works technical awareness course.
Delegates are required to attend the full day’s training, during which time, they are assessed on the knowledge and understanding of each subject area and are required to sit a multiple-choice test paper consisting of 22 questions, 4 of which are free text questions. The exam pass mark is 78% (21 out of 27).
On successfully passing the end of course assessment, delegates will be awarded a CITB certification, which is valid for five years.
The TWCTC refrresher it is only for those who have previously completed the CITB Temporary Works Co-Ordinator Training Course and been awarded a CITB certificate.
If you’re a Temporary Works Co-ordinator, or have managerial responsibility for temporary works on site, you will need to maintain your knowledge by attending a refresher course every five years.

Only those delegates who have successfully passed the two day Temporary Works Co-ordinator course, in the last five years, and can provide evidence of this are eligible to attend the one day TWCTC refresher training.
A good understanding of spoken and written English will be necessary to attend and complete the course successfully.
CITB certificates are issued electronically via email, and typically take around 2 weeks to be issued. You can also view your results online via the CITB profile at www.citb.co.uk/cards-testing/online-card-checker

Full attendance on all days, at the required times stated on your course joining instructions, is compulsory to successfully complete the course.
Start and finish times are confirmed on your joining instructions which are issued 7 to 10 days prior to course commencement. Failure to arrive at the requested time may result in the delegate being turned away.
Yes, a name change can be completed free of charge providing the delegate being substituted has the required pre-requisites. You can submit your request by emailing our customer service team at training@easybooktraining.co.uk or calling on 01892 543000.
Pre-requisites are requested when the awarding body requires proof of a previous in date qualification or experience, to ensure delegates are eligible to attend. These guidelines are set policies which we are not able to amend. CITB do not currently offer a card option in place of the e-cert.
