This comprehensive 10-day CISRS Part 1 Scaffolder Tube and Fitting Course will give you a solid grounding in scaffolding. Through practical sessions in erecting scaffolding, altering a structure and dismantling it safely and effectively, you’ll learn essential aspects of health and safety on site.
Current Scheme Rules up to and including 29th February 2024
You need to have held your CISRS Trainee or Scaffolder Labourer card for at least six months and have a minimum of 6 months operational experience under direct supervision of a qualified scaffolder. By the end of ten days’ training, you’ll gain a thorough understanding of how to work safely at height, while constructing a range of scaffold structures.
NEW Scheme Rules from 1st March 2024
From 1st March 24 anyone who successfully passes the CISRS Part 1 Course will be issued with a CISRS Trainee Scaffolders Card which is valid for 18 months. A minimum of 6 months operational experience is required for students to progress onto the CISRS Part 2 Course.

At the end of this CISRS Part 1 Scaffolding Tube and Fitting course, you will need to pass several written theory tests and a practical skills assessment.
On successful completion of the training, you’ll receive a CISRS Certificate of training and can apply for your CISRS Trainee Scaffolder card to be updated with this new qualification.
This training course is for scaffolding operatives, scaffolding trainees and labourers who need relevant scaffolding expertise to carry out their work, using traditional tube and fitting scaffolding equipment.
Under current scheme rules (up to 29th February 2024) you must have held a valid CISRS Trainee Scaffolder or CISRS Scaffolding Labourer (COTS) card for at least six months to be able to book this course.
Under the new scheme rules you must have held a CISRS Scaffolding Labourer card (completed after 1st March 24) for a minimum of 3 months to be elidgible to attend this course.

Full attendance on all days, at the required times stated on your course joining instructions, is compulsory to successfully complete the course.
Start and finish times are confirmed on your joining instructions which are issued 7 to 10 days prior to course commencement. Failure to arrive at the requested time may result in the delegate being turned away.
Yes, a name change can be completed free of charge providing the delegate being substituted has the required pre-requisites. You can submit your request by emailing our customer service team at training@easybooktraining.co.uk or calling on 01892 543000.
Pre-requisites are requested when the awarding body requires proof of a previous in date qualification or experience, to ensure delegates are eligible to attend. These guidelines are set policies which we are not able to amend.
